The European Handball Federation is the governing body of all European handball organizations, i.e. 50 national federations and 2 associated federations. It was founded on November 17, 1991 in Berlin. Its headquarters are in Vienna, Austria.
The brief
The European Handball Federation wanted to deploy a complete VIDEO REPLAY solution for its men’s and women’s European championships. It chose the VOGO ELITE BUNDLE solution.
The deployed solution
The VOGO ELITE BUNDLE solution combines the VOKKERO ELITE communication and VOGOSPORT ELITE video replay solutions.
For Euro 2024, VOGO has extended its offer with VOGOSPORT ELITE broadcasting and viewing tools, comprising 3 27-inch touch screens positioned at the edge of the pitch:
- The first is operated by VOGO’s Replay Operator.
- The second is dedicated to the video assistant referee.
- The third duplicates the images for the on-field referees to facilitate their decision-making.
For audio, VOKKERO audio technology with a patented noise filter enables hands-free, Plug & Play operation.
The result
A tailor-made solution
The VOGO ELITE BUNDLE solution was implemented on the basis of specific specifications from the Federation. The Federation opted for a complete system.
Easy to use
VOGO worked closely with the Federation to train the field referees. All referees were trained in the use of the VOGOSPORT tablet.
